just putting up some pics at different stages this is the front frame being fab out of 2X4, 2X2 tubing. 2X4 was narrowed down too 2 inchs at the front. Attachments:

Moved rear frame rails in 4-1/2 inchs on both sides to allow running wider tires. This is the finish gussetting. Attachments:

Getting started back on it. came up with this 671 blower just need to clean up and switch it to gas use. body work been slow but moving ahead again. Attachments:

Glad it's still going on! I built my gasser in a canopy with no floor also. Laid down gravel and sheets of plywood to make it easier to crawl under the project. I think a lot of people avoid starting a project because they don't have a fancy shop, or heated garage. I ran a propane heater in the winter to make life easier during the cold weather!

Finally got fire wall the way I want it. All welded up cleaned up welds and skim coat of bondo to fill in little low spots. Getting ready to cut the floor out to much rust to keep patching, just going to build a flat one with sheet metal and some tubing. Attachments:

Started new floor pan gotten mounting braces just about ready then I will lay the sheet metal on top and weld to braces. Then if all goes well just set rest of body on it. Attachments:
