need some help........ 65 yrs old and am trying to build a falco gasser kind'a like the one I had at 18 yrs old. look'n for parts; 9" rear end that will fit UNDER the car w/ 9" tires w/o cutt'n the body. Need some direction, maybe somebody that has one or knows of one. My budget now is just like the one I had at 18yrs old. I have some 27' ford roadster parts (and other stuff) to trade or sell. I really really need a rear end. It's been a long time away from it all. Is a 8.8 as durable as a 9"; AND is there one narrow enough for a 61 falcon w/o narrowing it???????? thanks

Mid 70's Ford Granada or Mercury Monarch should work for you, only thing narrower is a 57 T-Bird 9", that would work perfect in your bird, but pretty hard to find..................Good Luck..........

What about a Mustang rear? My father-in-law used a Lincoln Versaille rear in his 68 Mustang without cutting anything. Just 2 more suggestions.
