Help, I have a 52 ford that we put a straight axle under ,then re arched the springs , when we add or remove length to the steering link the car will only turn a little one way or a lot the other ,any help would be appreciated

It sounds like your steering link is not the right length. You should have the wheels pointing straight ahead and the steering box centered before you put the link on. If you don't know how to center the steering box, just turn the wheel from lock to lock and count the turns. Then divide by 2 and turn the steering wheel from full left or right that number of turns and that will put your steering box at about mid travel. With the box centered and the wheels pointing straight ahead you can then try your link and see if it's the right length. Rick
