Hi guy's I hope you guy's remember this car I need some help I am looking for a friends car. Dan is looking to find his mid-engine gold 57 chevy. The car was built in the late 60's the motor was a 331ci with a4-71 blower and hilborn injector. The motor was set back in the interior and the driver sat in back seat. The car was in a number of magazine, Dan sold the car back in 1974 to a guy by the name of Gary Tollefson who live in Wisconsin. From Wisconsin the car went to Illinois and sold to a number of people 3 or 4 owned the from 1990 to 1995.One owner repainted the car red and anotherowner of the car tried to sell it and had no luck so he put the motor back in it's original location and sold the car that way.Someone said the car was later sold at a gov auction, so if anyone knows the location of the car please let me know. Dan is looking for the car and he would like to get the car back. Thank's Don

Hey guys, I've been following this saga on the HAMB with the hopes for some good news. But as of late, it has run in to a big dead end. It's either one of two things, right under your noses or you're searching in the completely wrong place. I hope that it's under your noses and you strike paydirt soon. That would be very kool. I'd like to see this car found and restored back to the "magazine" car it once was. Good luck and don't give up.
