heres my 41 Willy's gasser project. i ordered a very poor quality kit from bad boy customs in tn. Lucky for me I'm good at glass work and it will never see paint anyways. the plan is to run it the 10-11 sec range and to do wheel stands on the street. i already installed a 9" from a 7 sec pro street car, made my own 4 link with the lower link 5' long so it mounts just under the firewall, the motor is set back so its even with the windshield,i had a 408 small block Chevy and a Muncie 4 speed from another project. the only problem I'm having is the old chrome 60s axle ,it looks cool but I'm not sure about the single leaf front. it will look like a barn find steel body car with metallic paint and lettering showing through the fadded primer, the front might be a tilt but will be showing fiberglass with a 60s correct hood scoop.it will have blue glass,a aluminum and black vinyl interior. i have 5 other cars that are all finished and too expensive to break..this will be my fun car! Killer car. But please don't do the 'faux' barn find look. It's getting old and that car deserves a kick ass paint job! But either way, I'm jealous.

I like the look of the single leaf front spring and putting one under my car. Learned alot about them from the hot rodders on how to set it up right, they are just different then what every one else is doing, but im a odd ball.

Be careful, that's the setup that has given these cars the "Handle Poorly" label. Mono spring setups work great on lower cars like hot rods, but once you set the nose up in the air it can change things.

The duel springs are the better handing set up for sure not as much to adjust to get them right. The single can get alot of binding in it. worked alot to get mine so there is no binding and aheavy enough spring to hold the load.
