Im John, known as johnny rotten on track. Here is my 63 chevy II. Have a bbc and liberty 5100 trans, 9" ford. The car is street driven but built to race. I run with the great lakes gassers. Our home track (milan) just gave us out own series this year. Lots of racing and close to home. Come out and race with us this year if your in the area. Nothin better that a track full of gassers, you know what I mean. Attachments:

John, love the car! I think I've seen you post over on the HAMB before. That car is one of my inspiration cars I have as I build my '63 Nova. Welcome!

Thank you Kustomizer for the complements,,,made my day! The great lakes gassers have been talking about coming up with some travel money for our out of town racers, so we can get car counts up and some great racing. A little Mi vs Mn might just be in order. I'll keep you posted on funds available, we would love to have you as our guest.....and put you on the trailer too (LOL) We have 9 race dates at Milan dragway and are looking to keep out series going by good car/crowd counts and some great racing. Thank you for this site, its the nicest on the net. All you guys have some stout gassers. Would like to see you and your cars sometime soon. Again thanks for the kindus.......... John

Hey John, tell me a bit about your rear wheel opening. Did you build that flair/lip from scratch? I only ask because my friend and I were talking about using the lip from a front fender and molding it in to the rear to kind of match the body lines up front and yours kind of looks like you might have done the same, but I can't tell.

Thanks for the kind words by the way. We'd love to come out some day and do a little racing, but this year is for sure a no go because of funds(the lack of) and still working some of the bugs out of our cars, but the events at Milan are defiantly on our radar.
