Hi all. I just sold my 49 Thames panel. It was a gasser wars survivor and a real nostalgia piece. Bought a 56 2-door Chevy this week and plan to build a gasser style street rod. The car was a race car for most of its life and stored inside so it is quite solid and will not require much body repair. Plan to contact Bob to get feedback on a straight axle conversion. I found one on Jim Meyers Racing website that looks good. Has anyone used this conversion on their project. Would appreciate any feedback. Also have a 30 Model A 5 window, full fendered, all steel. 302 Ford, C4, 9" ford rearend, AC, and American racing wheels. Enjoy crusing and meeting people at the car events. Will post photos as soon as I can figure out how to do it.
