Yes I will address this to Bob; Where did you get Lonnies' 55. I have a 41 willys coupe that I am using a 54 chevy straight axle. The springs are weak. The "how to" says you re-arched the springs. Could you please tell me where you bought them & how much roughly they were. I am from Indiana. Thank you very much. gasserking

Lonnies springs came with the truck axle he used and we took the springs to a place in Inver Grove Heights called Kramer (sp?) Spring and told them how much more arch we wanted and they did it.

fellas, fellas, fellas. don't be so hasty. i took this idea from another site and it works great. i made mine out of 1/8th thick 2x3 but, i think to cover all bases, it would have been better at 3/16th thick. just weld as per the pic make a plate for the bottle jack. take your spring and lay it on the ground and make a chalk mark of the arch. then put the spring in the contraption and jack. it will be surprising how easy it bends. i used it to bend the spring in the pic to have a reversed eye and the other to be regular. freaked people out every time they looked at it. ;D
