Hey guys i am building a 51 henry j what steering boxes are you running.Is it cross or push pull steering,I can't decide on a tube or a cut down i beam.I will get some pics when i get on the car got to finish up some customers cars first$$$ thanks for a great site can't wait to ride in the j

Vega steering boxes work great, especially in a smaller car. Stay away from traditional steer and go with cross steering, you will have a much better handling gasser when done. Make sure that you have the draglink parallel or as parallel as you can to the front axle as that will help you avoid bumpsteer problems. Good luck on the build and post pics of the progress!

I was thinking that cross would be the way to go.I am finishing up one project and have two to go.Then i can start been getting parts,got a blower manifold for my 440 dodge so i will start setting up the blower so i can make the drive and pulleys.Looks like i will buy a set up from speedway motors.For the money it looks good.

Got my axle set up from speedway looks good all but the brakes they are the 9.5 mustang rotors,called them they are going to swap me for the 11" set up also got my team3 gasser front wheels thet look great.Picked up a vega streeing box at the street rod nats in louisville.getting closer to starting on the j can't wait
