OK, let's say a person wants to go to an event and get there fill of nostalgic gassers and drag racing, but could only make one event, what do you think is the best event to go to and why did you like it?

I think Thompson would be great and I always love going to the HAMB drags in MO.

I have heard that Thompson, Bowling Green and the March Meet bring out some good number of Gassers. HAMB drags will have some, but it is more of a mix of rides there. Lots of street driven rods, but some really neat nostalgia based drag cars too. If you haven't ever been to the HAMB drags I strongly reccomend it. I think it is the best car event on the planet.

DuckusCrapus nailed it. I have video of the HAMB drags, but can't get it on here for some reason. There are a lot of street cars, but the nostalgia based drag cars are amazing. This year is going to have some good stuff.

Duckus, the March meet is out in California, right? Yes it is. Every time I have seen pics or video of this gig I am usually drooling. Nice stuff and some historic race cars always make a big showing. DuckusCrapus
