F/S 1940 Olds Coupe in Phoenix AZ. Bought it to build into a gasser but plans have changed. The car has a modified original frame. The front has been converted to a 1979 Chevy Impala front clip. Discs etc, and a very well done conversion. The rear is now the '79 10 bolt non posi (unknown ratio) rear from the Impala using the original long lower trailing arms (much like the mid 60's chevy trucks) and a set of adapted upper arms. The firewall is cut out for a set back small block. The 350/350 from the Impala is adapted into the frame (setback) on good permanent frame mounts. Driveshaft is in place. I bought the car as is, the owner claimed the motor was a good runner but does smoke on startup, so would need rebuilding. But can be used as is. I have not started it. As far as it being mounted in place, it is all done and ready to go. Needs wiring etc. The floors are perfect, only cut at the firewall. Have several pics of the car if interested. I'll add one to this ad. Most if not all of the trim is included, headlights and buckets are there, just not in the pics. I have many more. I'm asking $2,500 as is. My zip is glendale az 85306 for references. Thanks for looking, Mark L

Update. The '40 was used as a tade for a 1963 Catalina. Thanks to everyone that looked. Mark L
