Hello everyone, I'm new here and I need some help. I'm doing a 60's style gasser with a '56 Chev 2d wagon. I already bought all the parts I need for the straight axle from Speedway. My problem is the installation of the straight axle. It seems everytime I talk with someone, I learn something new. This makes me think how much is left that I really don't know. Does anyone know of a particular magazine or website that can kind of walk you through this process? This is a nice, solid car so cutting the frame is out of the question. I do agree that its a cleaner look with the a-frame gone but it can't happen here. Thank you.l

Welcome Carmine. I see you made it over from trifive. It's a new site with slow traffic so far, But alot of great info. I'm sure someone will be along to help you out. Enjoy! Rick

Welcome Carmine! Not sure if I can be a ton of help with the install on a stock frame as all of our cars have the frame cut off with a new front subframe fabricated. Maybe you can post some of the info/advice you have received so far and we can get a good discussion going on what the best way to approach it would be.
