Traded my wife's '57 for this (some husband I am! ha ha!), and threw it together with most of the parts that I wasn't using from my other '55. Figured I'd build the car I WISH I'd had in HS. Now I have one for the street and one for the track. Attachments:

Welcome! Cool looking car! Love teardrop hoods also. I was going to put one on my Nova and still might in the future. What kind of drivetrain are you running?

Well, it's nothing "pretty". More function over form. Engine is a large journal, steel crank 327. Bowtie heads w/205 valves, 1.5 Crane roller rockers, Crower 5.25 solid lift cam, no-name version of the Bowtie air gap intake, rods and pistons are "massaged" 1970 LT1. M20 trans w/V Gate shifter coupled to the stock '55 3.70 rear (welded). Haven't had it to the track yet, so I have no #'s to post. I do know it pulls really good at launch. I didn't build it to race, just to have fun with. A paint job is in it's future... Attachments:
