Thought I would introduce myself and my car. 65 Chevy II with solid front axle, work in progress. North of Salt Lake City, Utah in Layton.
408 SBC forged rotating assembly 11.5:1 compression

Comp Cams 540 lift forgot duration
Holley pro dominator tunnel ram with a pair of Holley 450's mech sec. no choke
Fenderwell headers with Badlandz Electric Cutouts and Pypes X pipe exhaust with Thrush Mufflers
No power anything
all braided SS lines (ALL)
heater box (in garbage)
Built TH350 3500 Stall hardend shafts shift kit Pro-Matic II shifter +2 quart cast finned aluminum pan B&M cooler
Line lock
Prayed for chrome and I got it..alt, pan, master cylinder, starter, fuel pump...all that bolts on.
Narrowed Ford 9inch rear braced full spool 410 gears Strange custom axles billet girdles
4 wheel disc brakes...DOT 5 inside...it stops as well as goes
Competition Engineering rear leaf relocators
Wagon Monoleaves with Cal Trac Bars,
Hoosier DOT Drag Quick Time Pros
no back seat (in garbage)
Six States Custom driveline
Mini tubbed battery in trunk
No radio, but a Hula Girl on dash for entertainment
I have only had the car for a couple of years and I have not had it to the track yet, so I have no idea what it will run. I had a 377 in it last year but blew it up showing off for my son. I am roughly one mile above sea level here in North Utah.
So any guess on what it will run? Test and tune nights are coming up. Can't wait to get thrown out of Rocky Mountain Raceway when they say I need a cage to run that fast
I saved this car from the scrapyard, I bought it as a roller. I am working on a twin turbo 5.3 LS setup but need to get further along on my car and juggle the family bills and WIFE.......
